Initiative for a new program activity in the day center – PORAKA Skopje

The care and the work with horses, within the rehabilitative program activities of the day center – PORAKA Skopje, was initiated by Pablo, our new friend from Portugal, in coordination with the Repbulic center for support of Persons with Intellectual Disability – PORAKA.
The first activity took place in “Hipodrom”, where the users of the day center – PORAKA Skopje had an opportunity to find out everything about care for horses. After the presentation of the tools that are used for hygiene and shoeing of the horses, the users participated in the activities together with Pablo. At the end, some of the users, guided by our host, had the opportunity to ride a pony. Filled with new experiences, positive emotions and wishes to spend more time with Pablo and his horses, the users left “Hipodrom”. 
We would like to express our appreciation to Pablo for his time, willingness and devotion. We hope that this cooperation will continue in future, as a regular program activity of the day center – PORAKA Skopje.
